Try out your new Licence

A quiet morning as a couple or with the children: you drop anchor off El Portet beach, lower the swim ladder and the water is right there. The bimini gives shade on board, the cool box keeps the ice for lunch and the sunbed is waiting for after your swim.

If you have just got your Navigation Licence, this is the boat to try it out: easy to handle, with the calm of a 15 hp engine.

Sail a Trident 530 Sport, 4.99 m long, for up to 6 people. You set off from Moraira or Les Basetes, between the Moraira headland and the Peñón de Ifach, and cruise between Moraira, Jávea and Calpe depending on the sea. Half a day, from 10:00 to 14:00 or from 15:00 to 19:00, or the whole day.

From €290 per 4-hour trip

Go further

The long day out with friends or the whole family: room for 8 without squeezing in and the power to go further. You head for Cap d’Or, follow the cliffs, where you can still see the steps and ropes of the old fishing spots fixed into the rock, and have lunch on board at anchor, facing the Peñón de Ifach. You head back to harbour as the sun goes down.

And you skipper it with the Navigation Licence, the most basic qualification. The regulations state that we may skipper boats of up to 6 metres with an engine power suited to them according to their manufacturer.

Sail a Trident 630 Sport, 5.99 m long with 115 hp, with sunbed, bimini, Bluetooth speakers and cool box with ice. You set off from Moraira or Les Basetes. Half a day, from 9:30 to 13:30 or from 15:00 to 19:00, or the whole day.

From €380 per 4-hour trip
